We are life long Memphians who love and believe in the Mid-South and its people. Mid-South Court Diversion provides professional and courteous services to all clients and maintains a professional relationship with offenders who are completing court-ordered requirements. We have weekly scheduled classes in the evenings and weekends to help avoid time from work due to reporting.

ANGER MANAGEMENT

1 day class or Eight 1 hr. sessions

This course is designed to give offenders tools to better understand and deal with their emotions. This course consists of eight (8) one hour sessions.

MORAL RECONATION THERAPY

This is Your Service Subtitle

MRT is a cognitive-behavioral counseling program that combines education, group and individual counseling, and structured exercises designed to foster moral development in treatment-resistant clients. As long as clients’ judgments about right and wrong are made from low levels of moral reasoning, counseling them, training them in job skills, and even punishing them will have little long-lasting impact on their behavior. This a twelve (12) week course.

DULUTH MODEL BATTERERS INTERVENTION PROGRAM

26 week course

This course emphasizes how to effectively deal with emotions in relationships and provides the tools necessary to maintain positive emotions. We use the Duluth model curriculum. Twenty seven (27) one and a half hour sessions.

PARENTING

6 to 24 weeks

This course is designed to help participants develop parenting skills and assess values related to family. Clients confront their parenting skills and habits, perform a clarification on their values regarding family, and establish appropriate discipline routines. This course consists of six (6) one hour sessions.

AAA DRIVER IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

4 hr

The defensive driving material in this course has qualified traffic offenders for point reduction since 1977. Major insurance carriers also may reduce premiums for drivers who complete this program

ALCOHOL AND DRUG SERVICES

Intensive Outpatient Program and A&D Safety School

People who suffer from addiction face temptations in recovery, and some may feel lost in the quest for sobriety. We offer programs that can help.

THEFT CESSATION

Call to schedule

This course raises awareness of the impact of theft and fraud on the community. Clients are required to confront faulty thinking and are exposed to the social consequences of financial crimes. This program is particularly effective with first time offenders. This course consists of four (4) one hour sessions.
